Dr. Alexa Sheppard is new to DSFCC.  She was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN and received her Bachelor of Arts in Sports and Exercise Science from DePauw University.  She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL.

Alexa firmly believes in a whole health approach to treating patients and doesn't just treat symptoms. Her skills allow her to provide a gentle, effective approach to ascertain the root cause of conditions. She employs a variety of therapeutic techniques to restore function, improve health, and prevent injury.

Alexa grew up playing many sports (including basketball, volleyball, tennis, and golf) and has always been interested in helping athletes with sports injuries.  She has been adjusted since birth (thanks to her father who is also a chiropractor), and has experienced the benefits of chiropractic throughout her life.  Alexa wishes to share all of these benefits with her patients, and is interested in the improvement in health and wellness of all of her patients.

In her free time Alexa enjoys cooking, traveling, music, and experiencing the Colorado outdoors.
